Maintenance

Maintenance Crew Supervisor
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Crew Supervisor is to supervise grounds maintenance and enhancement projects and to direct the workflow of all maintenance teams. The Maintenance Crew Supervisor is responsible for the actions and oversight of crew members, in order to maintain a professional image at all times. With their teams, the Maintenance Crew Supervisor will oversee proper maintenance of lawns, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and other grounds features.

Qualified candidates will possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a minimum of 3-5 years of field experience (including snow removal), previous leadership skills, proven knowledge of regional plants and material, working knowledge of maintenance equipment (truck & trailer and dump truck experience required), proficiency in Microsoft Office, a degree in Horticulture field, and additional qualifications as per the job description. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, walking, reaching, climbing and lifting for prolonged periods of time, lifting and carrying 50 pounds, and working with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment, including moving machinery/equipment. Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred.

With their teams, the Maintenance Crew Leader will oversee proper maintenance of lawns, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and other grounds features.   With their teams, the Maintenance Crew Leader will be responsible for the preparation, installation, removal and/or treatment of trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials using proper horticultural practices.

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Crew Member is to  complete grounds maintenance and enhancement projects in coordination with crew members and leader. With their teams, the Maintenance Crew Member will oversee proper maintenance of lawns, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and other grounds features.   He/she will be responsible for the preparation, installation, removal and/or treatment of trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials using proper horticultural practices.

Qualified candidates will possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment, ability to multi-task while paying attention to detail, ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions, with a minimum of one year of field experience preferred but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, walking, reaching, climbing and lifting for prolonged periods of time, lifting and carrying 50 pounds, and working with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment, including moving machinery/equipment. Ability to communicate in Spanish desired.

Landscaping

Landscape Crew Supervisor

With their teams, Landscape Crew Supervisors will oversee the installation of trees, flowers, shrubs, and hardscapes according to overall design, utilizing best horticultural practices.Qualified candidates will possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a minimum of 4-5 years of field experience, previous leadership skills, proven knowledge of regional plants and material, working knowledge of landscape equipment, proficiency in Microsoft Office, a degree in Horticulture and additional qualifications as per the job description.

The primary responsibility of the Gardener is to maintain landscapes utilizing proper horticultural practices, with attention to detail. The Gardener will be responsible for the installation of shrubs, perennials, annuals or bulbs, following the provided design layout. The Gardener will be responsible for preparation, installation, removal, ongoing maintenance activities and/or treatment, as per the design layout.

Qualified candidates will possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a minimum of 2-3 years of field experience, and a degree in Horticulture field. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, climbing and lifting for prolonged periods of time, lifting and carrying 40 pounds, and working with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment, including moving machinery/equipment. Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred.

Landscape Delivery

The primary responsibility of the Delivery is to drive safely and deliver products within deadlines. Perform truck and equipment set up, repair and preventative maintenance services.

Qualified candidates will possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, Clean Driving record and valid driver license, CDL Preferred. Applicant needs to be able to drive tractors, trucks with trailers, heavy equipment.

Job function includes but not limit to:

Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes

Follow route and time schedule

Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle

Fueling of all company vehicles

Complete logs and reports, including individual fleet histories and recommendations.

Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Tree Service

Snow Creek Natural Resources Management is looking for a skilled climber to work on our natural resource crew. The majority of our work is providing all facets of tree care as well as tree removals; with other work including invasive plant control, trail building and insect and disease management in trees, among others. Ability to safely use chainsaws is critical, and ability to use other various hand tools and machinery is helpful. Soft climbing skills are necessary, either using single- or double-rope techniques. Arborist certification and/or pesticide applicator license a plus. Current driver license and clean driving record strongly encouraged. Year-round full time work.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience as Controller in small – medium sized business
• Must have job-cost accounting background
• 8-10 years overall accounting experience, prefer service-related industry background
• Landscaping industry experience a plus
• Heavy emphasis in project-based accounting management
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, with heavy emphasis on Excel
• Accounts receivable / collections, cash management, general ledger & trial balance preparation
• Must be detail-oriented, take-charge problem-solver
• Ability to prioritize and process daily accounting transactions with minimal management oversight
